Bandits kidnap four in fresh attack in Niger
Bandits on Sunday night launched fresh attack in Tegina community in Rafi Local Government Area, Niger State, kidnapping four persons.
The bandits were said to have arrived at the scene of the operation in large numbers armed with AK47.
The bandits struck at a sachet water factory, identified to be opposite Government Girls’ Secondary School, at about 9.00pm. The kidnapped victims were identified as the factory owner and three other workers. Others were said to have escaped.
The Commissioner of Police in Niger State, CP Bala Kuryas, was gathered to have revealed that one of the kidnapped victims managed to escape. The CP said that the police are on top of the situation, and have gone on a manhunt to arrest the bandits as soon as possible.
