Bandits kill 20, including village head, in fresh invasion of Zamfara community
Bandits on Sunday launched fresh attack, invaded Ganar-Kiyawa community in Adabka District, Bukkuyum Local Government Area, Zamfara State. The bandits killed 20 persons in the operation, including the village head.
The bandits were said to have stormed the community at about 8.30am on Sunday, shooting sporadically.
The bandits in the operations that encountered no resistance, extended their violent activities to neighbouring communities where they were said to have looted shops, homes and escaped with valuables.
The bandits struck to compound the security crisis in Zamfara State where the governor has been contending with the crisis of the IDPs.
