Bloodbath in Borno as Boko Haram strikes again
Several people, including children and women are said to have lost their lives following multiple explosions in Gamboru Ngala local government area of Borno state on Monday.
The explosives allegedly planted by Boko Haram close to a bridge between Nigeria and the Cameroonian border exploded during routine security check on people, who are coming out of the market.
Alhaji Tahir Mamman, who spoke to our Correspondent said he cannot ascertain the number of casualty.
“Today is the market day. The bomb incident happened at 3 O’clock when the people were returning home. A lot of women and children have been killed. May God Almighty bring an end to our predicaments,” Tahir said.
The military is yet to comment on the bomb explosion.
