Bodies of school pupils crushed by petroleum tanker litter accident scene 24 hours after
The bodies of pupils of the Army Day Primary School, 3 Battalions, Nigerian Army, Effurun, Delta State, on Friday were still found littering the scene of the accident where a petroleum tanker on Thursday crushed them to death.
It was gathered that the Nigerian Army and the school management could not provide information why the bodies of deceased primary school pupils were still at the accident scene 24 hours after. The corpse could not be removed to either the morgue or be committed to the mother earth since their death on Thursday.
Parents of the deceased pupils were not in ground for comments. Reports were also restricted from going into the Army barrack.
The tanker driver of the truck was also said not to have been arrested by the police or the army.
