Bola leaves Blackpool to sign for Boro
Championship club Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of Marc Bola from Blackpool via their official website. The former Arsenal trainee, who operates on the left-hand side of defence as well as further forward, becomes Boro’s third signing of the summer, with boss Jonathan Woodgate saying: “I was impressed by what I saw of Marc a few years ago playing for Arsenal in the UEFA Youth League.
Also, Bale set to stay at Real Madrid. The Spanish giants have reportedly pulled the plug on Bale’s move to China. Gareth Bale’s big-money move from Real Madrid to Chinese Super League outift Jiangsu Suning is off, according to BBC Sport .
Correspondent David Ornstein took to Twitter on Sunday lunchtime to reveal that Real have reportedly pulled the plug on a deal that was set to earn Bale £1m-a-week in wages.
Ornstein also claims Bale will remain at the Bernabeu despite widespread suggestions that he is no longer wanted by Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane.
