Buhari presents 2023 budget proposal to National Assembly Friday
President Muhammadu Buhari has written the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, notifying the federal legislature that he will be presenting the 2023 budget proposal to the joint session of the National Assembly by 10.00am on Friday.
The President of Senate, Ahmad Lawan, read the letter at plenary on Tuesday.
Lawan said the that venue for the presentation of the 2023 budget bill by President Buhari would be the temporary chamber of the House of Representatives.
He said that arrangements would be made to accommodate all the senators.
The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, had disclosed that the federal government proposed a budget estimate of N19.76 trillion for the 2023 fiscal year.
