Chelsea star welcomes new baby after Fulham win
It was double delight for Jorginho at the weekend as after helping Chelsea defeat Fulham in a west London derby he also welcomed a new member to his family.
The Chelsea forward played the full 90 minutes in his side’s 2-0 Premier League win at Stamford Bridge, with goals coming from Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
But to give the midfielder yet more joy, he was also by his wife Natalia’s side as she gave birth to a daughter.
Posing with his family for an Instagram photo, the Italian international shared his delight with his followers.
‘The new member of the family has arrived,’ Jorginho posted.
‘One more blessing in my life. Thank you father, I only ask for much health. What a wonderful family that I love so much. Alicia, we love you princess.’
Jorginho, though, could be set for a quick return to action, with the Blues playing again on Wednesday when they visit Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
Maurizio Sarri may give the Italy international a short break to spend time with his family though, to keep him fresh for Saturday’s crunch clash with runaway leaders Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
