Coronavirus: Gov Okowa directs civil servants to work from home, limits social events to 20 persons
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has directed civil servants from level 1 to 12 to work from home effective Thursday, March 26, 2020, to avert the incursion and spread of coronavirus in the state.
The Delta state government also ordered immediate closure of all-night clubs, cinemas and limiting all social events to 20 persons.
Meanwhile, Delta State is still immune from coronavirus infection.
Governor Okowa appealed to residents of the state who may have returned from any of the high-risk countries to observe self-isolation for a minimum of 14 days.
