Court receives Chicago, NYSC certificates in PDP’s case against Tinubu
The Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC) has accepted certified copies of academic and work records belonging to President Bola Tinubu, which were submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and its 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The records before the court revealed that Tinubu registered different names with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The documents, presented on Friday, include a B.Sc. certificate from Chicago State University, an NYSC Discharge Certificate, and a certificate of service from Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc.

The PDP introduced the documents through their witness, Mike Enahoro Ebah, Esq., who was subpoenaed.
He acknowledged that the documents were “purportedly” obtained by Tinubu but bore the name ‘Bola Adekunle Tinubu’.
During the proceedings led by PDP counsel Chris Uche, SAN, the witness also submitted nomination forms EC13 and EC9, along with the corresponding letters addressed to INEC.
