COVID tension in Canadian, Legislature gathers over 1m signatures to impeach Prime Minister
Tension has continued to mount in Canada over covid controversies. The Canadian House of Commons is handling a petition supported by at least one million signatures for the removal of the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and his Liberal government · Change.org.
At the weekend, 196,174 new signatures were added to the petition, making it more popular and increasing the pressure on the lawmakers to commence impeachment of the Prime Minister.
The petition sprang up amidst agitation for end to COVID restrictions ion Canada. Truck drivers in Canada also joined the mass protest on Friday when they halted operations on the highways. The truck drivers parked their vehicles by the roadside during the protest, refusing to carry out their duties all through Friday, demanding the government to scrap all covid restrictions in the country.
The activities in Canada trail the turn of events in Britain, Norway, Ireland, and Wales, where governments are suddenly scrapping covid restrictions.
