Davido’s N8m to Sophia Momodu wins fans’ heart
By EDIALE KINGSLEY
AFTER spending close to N8m against Dele Momodu’s Zero kobo. Fans of Davido are having a change of heart towards the music super star against the initial bitter feelings.
Apparently, his fans had gotten disgruntled over his actions of abducting his daughter against the will of the mother. They also got pissed with all the verbal lashings he had heaped on Dele Momodu over the saga.
However, everything changed when they got to know of the entire dealings that transpired between both families as well as a detailed account report. The account revealed how much spent thus far by Davido on Sophie Momodu. This include renting of a comfortable Lekki Apartments for 2 years costing N3.5m. A monthly allowance of N300, 000 which amounted to N2.1m for the seven months so far. Medical bills, prenatal and postnatal, apartment furnishings costing N2m. With almost N8m expended so far by Davido, he has shown a level of responsibility.
According to a fan, “They shouldn’t have dragged that child into public glare. I believe whatever issue they are having should be sorted out in closed doors. The child will definitely grow up and read about it someday. It’s not good. You cannot take a child away from her mother. They both have the right to her custody. It shouldn’t be full custody for one person. It’s their child. She made a mistake from the onset “.
AjokeTade, a PR consultant added her voice, “Dele Momodu shouldn’t have dabbled into the matter the way he did. It’s not his business and from the investment so far it is clear he has no dime contributed towards the upkeep of both mother and daughter, so why is he pretending? Davido has his errors as well but at least he has shown responsibility”.
“Davido will give his child more attention. Sophie is not medically fit to have the child in her custody. Davido will give his child more attention. If Davido had not “abducted” the child from his baby-mama as purported by Sophie, Imade will be dead by now. And there won’t be need for this conversation. I think Sophie needs to learn how to manage her health before entrusting the welfare of a child to her.” opined Senator The Comedian.
