EBONYI: Operation Golden Dawn troop, IPOB clash; many killed, items recovered
Again the Exercise GOLDEN DAWN troops have raided some positions of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) militia wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN), and killed some of the fighter at Ochokwu, Ikwo, Ebonyi.
Arms and items recovered include AK-47 rifles, rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, magazines, Biafra flags, among others, on Friday.
The secessionists had been occupying the hideout for some time, according to PRNigeria.
“Troops exchanged fire with the gunmen. They subdued the IPOB militants”, news platform quoted an officer.
