Edo 2024: LP candidate, Akpata, set to unveil vision for Edo State
The candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the forthcoming governorship election in Edo State, Olumide Akpata, is set to unveil his vision for the state as electioneering campaign garners momentum.
Olumide noting the curiousity of his supporters for photo-shoot, declared: “…get ready for the real koko of the matter: the unveiling of my vision for an Edo State that works for everyone…”

He was of the view that “beyond photo-shoots and cheesy campaign pics,” the vision he is ready to unveil will form the thrust of his campaign for the governorship election.
According to Olumide Akpata, @OlumideAkpata
“What do you get when my team practically drags me kicking and screaming in front of a camera? A whole lot of awkward posing and cheesy grins!
“They begged and pleaded for me to do this photo-shoot. But hey, at least we had fun capturing some new campaign photos (even if I’ll never admit how much I low-key loved it).
“However, get ready for the real koko of the matter: the unveiling of my vision for an Edo State that works for everyone – beyond photo-shoots and cheesy campaign pics. Though my team seems to think those are important too!”
