The defectors were received by the local government chairman of the APC, Oscar Aghedo at the party’s secretariat in the state.
The defectors cited failure of the PDP led state government to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
They also attributed the reason for their defection to the good governance entrenched by the member representing the Ovia federal constituency in the National Assembly (NASS), Hon. Dennis Idahosa.
They promised to deliver Hon. Idahosa for second term in office, as well as all the APC Candidates for the 2023 elections.
The Party chairman, while receiving the decapees, assured them that they would enjoy the same treatment as the older members of the party.
