#EndSARS Anniversary: Police arrest Journalist at one year procession venue, Lekki Tollgate, Lagos

The Police in the early hours of Wednesday arrested a journalist at the one year anniversary procession venue, Lekki Tollgate, Victoria Island, Lagos State, South West Nigeria, of the #EndSARS Movement. The journalist arrested by the police was identified as a reporter with Legit News.

According to an eyewitness as the scene of the arrest at Lekki Tollgate: “He was streaming live from the Toll gate and when he was asked for his ID card, he couldn’t provide one. He is currently being detained in one of the Police Vans at the Tollgate.”
