EPL: Chelsea struggle to beat Everton 0-1, as Tottenham fire Southampton 4-1
Chelsea on Saturday struggled in an away match to beat Everton 0-1 in the opening game of the new English Premier League season. It was a tight match that Chelsea only scored through a penalty and held on to the lone goal till the end of the game which lasted to 100mintes, that is additional time of 10 minutes.
Most of the play were done through the wings, through the various departments were on duty. The defence kept Everton strikers off the danger.
The new signings proved their deals the team.
In another game on Saturday, Tottenham fired four goals past Southampton, conceding one goal.
Leeds United, Newcastle, also joined the winning teams in the opening games of the new EPL season on Saturday.
