FAAC set to share N1.959trn allocation to FG, States, LGs in July
There are indications that the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) is set to share N1.959 trillion revenue allocation to the federal, states and local governments from the Federation Account for the month of July.
National Daily newspaper gathered that the FAAC will meet in Abuja to decide the allocation of the revenue that goes to the federal, state, and local government in reflection with the revenue sharing percentage.
Former Special Assistant on Digital Communications to former President Muhammadu Buhari, had raised the alarm on the allocation to be shared by the units of government in the country, saying that it is “time to shift more focus on our states. “Governors should be held accountable too.”

“The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) to share N1.959 trillion revenue in July, probably the highest ever according to TheCable. The FAAC will meet today in Abuja to allocate the revenue to the tiers of government, federal, state, and local, based on the sharing metrics. Time to shift more focus on our states. “Governors should be held accountable too.”
