Fake police arrested for attempting to burgle a house
A yet-to-be-identified man has been arrested in Kaduna for posing as an official of the EFCC.
In a video shared by Gen_Buhar on X, the fake officer was arrested after he attempted to enter the home of Dangiwa Umar, a former governor of Kaduna State.
He had served a search warrant on the residents of the house. “This is a fake police officer claiming to be from the EFCC and requested to serve a search warrant at the home of Dangiwa Umar, in Kaduna.
The wife was smart enough to refuse their request to come out and sign it when she told them her husband wasn’t home. She quickly called the husband who then alerted authorities and they caught the gang leader,” he shared.
In the video, a man dragged the fake official to the boot of a waiting car while demanding a handcuff and rope in Hausa Language. While the fake official was being made to lie down at the back of a car, other people around him called him unprintable names.
