Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has deleted a tweet attacking ‘Obidients’ the supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

National Daily reports that Fani Kayode in the early hours of Monday, 22nd August shared a post on the microblogging platform, Twitter, giving reasons why they ignore the ‘Obedient Movement’.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain opined that the LP supporters are everywhere but they ignore them at their own peril.

According to the former minister, the ‘Obidents’ will still be in their current position because they are not a political party but just a movement bound together by a common cause, purpose and objective of getting rid of the old leaders to usher in the new.

He tweeted: “These Obidients are EVERYWHERE. We ignore them at our peril. Long after we are all gone they will still be here because they are not a pol. party but a movement. They are bound together in a common cause, purpose & objective: to rid Nigeria of the old order & usher in the new.”

A check on the page to see the reactions of some netizens shows that Fani-Kayode has deleted the tweet but it was captured by National Daily before he deleted the post.
