Farouk Lawan regains freedom after serving 5-year jail term over $500,000 bribe
A former federal lawmaker, Farouk Lawan, has regained freedom after serving five years jail term on conviction over $500000 bribery.
The former member of the House of Representatives, Abuja, Farouk Lawan, regained freedom on Tuesday after 5-year jail term in Kuje Prison, FCT.

Farouk was convicted for receiving $500,000 bribe from Femi Otedola during investigation of subsidy payment in the country by the National Assembly.
