Flying Eagles of Nigeria defeat La Albiceleste of Argentina 2-0 in Under 20 World Cup, qualify for quarter-final
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria on Wednesday night defeated La Albiceleste of Argentina 2-0 to sail into the FIFA U-20 World Cup quarter-finals, hosted by Argentina. Ibrahim Muhammad and Rilwanu Haliru Sarki scored the winning goals for Nigerian Under 20 team in the second-half of the game.

The Flying Eagles victory over the La Albiceleste turned around the history of defeat of Nigeria by Argentina in 10 previous U-20 World Cup matches.
Nigeria’s Fly9ing Eagles will play the winner of the match between Ecuador and Korea Republic in the quarter-finals in Santiago del Estero on Sunday.
