Fresh mix-up, APC, Accord Party agents fight at Bayelsa Collation Centre
There was fresh mix-up as agents of two parties agents, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Accord Party (AP), engaged in a fight at the Bayelsa Governorship Collation Centre after results from Brass Local Government Area (LGA) were announced on Monday.

The agents APC) and Accord Party agents disrupted activities at the Centre, while the INEC Returning Officer for Bayelsa State, Prof Faruq Kuta, electoral officials, security agents and observers watched with utmost care.

Security operatives endeavoured to bring the situation under control, but the two agents were said to have moved out of the collation venue to continue their confrontation outside the building.
The Returning Officer was compelled to suspend proceedings while results from Southern Ijaw were being awaited.
Timipre Sylva of the APC was declared to have won Brass LGA, which was the bone of contention between the two party agents.
