Friends mourn as UNIBEN final year student dies in her sleep

Friends and Family are mourning the demise of Maria Precious Tunde, a final-year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State, who died in her sleep on Sunday, April 31st.

Maria, a student of Faculty of Education, was said to have died at her off-campus hostel in Ekosodin Village, a student town near the school.

According to a report, the deceased was hale and hearty before going to bed the previous night but failed to wake up the following day (Sunday), leaving hostel mates in rude shock.

It was gathered that all efforts to resuscitate her proved abortive, as Maria was reportedly found stone-dead by co-tenants who subsequently invited her parents to the scene.
