FRSC recovers over N27million from a fatal accident scene
The FRSC, Osun Sector Command, says a sum of N27,171,400 & N21,900 were recovered from the victims of the fatal car crash that occurred Tuesday morning, April 4, 2023.
The fatal multiple car crash, which occurred at Iwaraja Junction claimed the lives of 6 persons & left others severely inj¥red.
The collision involved a red Toyota Sienna with registration number KTU896HX & green coloured Zafira Opel with number GBA440XA which were travelling in opposite directions on the Ipetu-Ilesa axis of the Ilesa-Akure expressway.
The Osun FRSC Sector Public Education Officer, Agnes Ogungbemi in a statement said: “The accident involved 11 males & 3 females. 6 males lost their lives, while 7 others sustained severe injuries & only 1 person was unhurt.

N21,900 that belongs to the driver who drove GBA440XA OPEL ZAFIRA was handed over to the Nigeria Police Ijebu Ijesa. The sum of N27,171,400 only was recovered & handed over to the victims’ family members.”
