Fuel tanker explodes in Lagos
A tanker which contained gasoline, on Thursday, exploded at Ijora Pallete Junction, beside the Lagos State Homes Estate at Ijora Badiya, Lagos State.
It was also reported, that the explosion occurred at 1.30 p.m.
According to an eye witness, the tanker was leaking and some passers-by drew the tanker’s driver attention to the leakage.
The eye-witness also said the driver got down and attempted to use a fire extinguisher on the tanker before it exploded.
Meanwhile, firefighters and a team of police officers from Ijora Badiya Police Division were on ground to secure lives and properties.
