Gernor to call up Adeleke

Super Eagles Coach ,Gernot Rohr, has revealed that he could call-up top prospect Adeleke Akinyemi to the national team in future after scouting the Ventspils striker in Thursday evening’s Europa League qualifier against Bordeaux,National Daily learnt.
Akinyemi’s sparking display in the Europa League has awakened the interest of several Nigerians in the second-tier competition and he didn’t disappoint against the French Ligue 1 opponents, having netted his seventh goal in the competition in the 65th minute.
The 19-year-old has found the net 12 times in his last seven games in all competitions for Ventspils, scoring in each of those matches apart from the 1-0 loss to Bordeaux last Thursday.
