Girona Crushes Sevilla 5-1 in Dominant La Liga Display
Girona capped off an impressive season with a resounding 5-1 victory over La Liga powerhouse Sevilla on Sunday night.
Despite Sevilla drawing first blood through Isaac Romero in the 10th minute, Girona rallied back in spectacular fashion, National Daily Newspaper gathered.
Artem Dovbyk emerged as the hero of the night, bagging a hat-trick within the first 19 minutes.
He equalized just three minutes after Sevilla’s opener, followed by two quick goals in the 15th and 19th minutes, assisted by Savio and Christian Portu respectively.
The second half saw Girona maintain their dominance.
Viktor Tsygankov extended the lead to 4-1 in the 56th minute with another Savio assist.

Christian Stuani sealed the emphatic win with a goal in the dying minutes, solidifying Girona’s impressive performance.
This victory serves as a testament to Girona’s consistent brilliance throughout the season.
National Daily Newspaper also gathered that Girona comfortably dispatched a top-tier team like Sevilla, showcasing their attacking prowess and defensive resilience.
