Gov. Makinde signs law granting financial autonomy to House of Assembly
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Thursday signed a bill into law granting financial autonomy to the Oyo State House of Assembly, as he was signing the 2022 budget of N294.7 billion into law.
Governor Makinde emphasized that his administration would continue to ensure an open and transparent budget system in the state.
He also assured that the Executive will continue to partner the State House of Assembly towards collaborating to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
Governor Makinde, signing the N294.7 billion budget titled “growth and opportunity”, noted that the government is expected to provide more infrastructure in the State.
