Governors Forum accesses impact of Maiduguri flooding on victims in Borno State, North East Nigeria, noting that it is a huge humanitarian crisis.
As the Nigerian Governors Forum accesses impact of the flooding in Maiduguri, NGF Chairman, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, noted the flood crisis requires the support of everyone for the victims.

“Today, I led my colleagues at the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) to Maiduguri, Borno State, where we assessed the impact of the recent flooding that has displaced thousands of residents in the state.

“It is a huge humanitarian crisis, which requires that we all rally round the victims at this time.
“The NGF stands in solidarity with the government and residents of the affected areas.
“We commend the swift efforts of the Federal Government and the state’s authorities to bring immediate succour to the victims.”
