Gunmen behead 65-yr-old, hang skull on school building
Some unidentified men have beheaded a resident of Ubudom Atta community in the Njaba Local Government Area of Imo state
Nnoruka Onyeokwu, 65, was beheaded Saturday, and his skull displayed at the community primary school.
The community is now in panic, having witnessed spates of violence and killings since last year.
A traditional ruler was murdered then, and public institutions, including police station and health centres were destroyed.
According to neighbours, Onyeokwu was attacked in his house in the night and the villagers woke up the next day to see his skull hung out in the school.
There is no official response from the police yet.
