Heavily armed customs personnel storm PTML Mile 2 terminals ahead of protest
Heavily armed personnel of the Nigeria Customs Service on Wednesday, stormed the PTML off dock terminals located in Mile 2, Lagos, ahead of the protest.
NATIONAL DAILY learnt that freight agents are gearing up for the protests when about four Hilux van stormed the off dock facility earlier in the day.
Recall that licensed customs agents and freight forwarders had indicated interest to pickett the PTML Command over recent hike in valuation of imported vehicles,
The protest was expected to commence on earlier toda , in furtherance to draw the attention of the government in finding solutions on how to reduce values imposed by the customs on imported vehicles.
