How Imo state stood still to receive Kelechi Iheanachor

Imo state born Nigerian super eagles and Manchester city forward, Kelechi Iheanacho Promise, was pictured chilling with his friend, brother at the Imo state government house in Owerri.
He was also pictured with the Imo Chief of Staff Uche Nwosu.
National Daily gathered that the state literary stood still to welcome the football star. “All the security personnel’s in the state upped their game as it was a scene of convoys whenever he moved from one point to another” a source said.
Kelechi was part of the team that fell to South Africa’s Bafana Bafana recently in Uyo. They got beaten 2 goals to nil as strikers like Kelechi couldn’t save the day.
Kelechi is expected to leave Manchester City this season as many clubs like West Ham has shown interest for the Super Eagles striker.
