How police rescued retired AIG Odumosu’s wife from abductors
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have successfully rescued Folashade Odumosu, wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu, and killed her abductors.
Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the development in an interview with Channels TV on Thursday morning.
Mrs. Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in Arepo, Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The kidnappers forcibly dragged her from her SUV and whisked her away through a swampy area to an undisclosed location.

According to reports, Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, personally led the rescue operation.
In an update on the situation, Mr. Adejobi revealed that the police operatives also recovered the ransom paid to the kidnappers as part of a tactical operation.
However, he declined to disclose the amount of ransom paid or the specific location where the rescue operation took place.
This successful operation highlights the commitment of the Nigerian Police Force to combating kidnapping and ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
