How Wike Saraki, Bala, 3 others lost PDP presidential primary after Tambuwal stepped doe for Atiku
Atiku Abubakar has again defeated all his rivals, including the promising Nyesom Wike who contested the PDP presidential ticket on Saturday.
The former vice president polled 371 votes.
Wike came second with 237 votes, followed by Bukola Saraki – 70; Mohammed – 20; Udom Emmanuel – 38 votes; and Anyim Pius Anyim – 14.
Sam Ohuanbunwa got a vote.
Sokoto Gov. Aminu Tambuwal had withdrawn from the presidential race and had given his support to the former Vice President.
This is the third time in about 20 years Atiku would win presidential primary.
