“I only tested my manager and promoter by sacking them and they failed the test” — Singer Portable
Fast-rising Nigerian singer, rapper and dancer, Portable Omolalomi whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola has expressed his dissatisfaction with how his relationship with his manager and Promoter ended, pointing out that he expected them to come back and apologise since he is the one feeding them.
Portable and Kogbadigi
Recall that Portable argued with his former manager, Kogbagidi over issues related to money, car ownership, and contract. And this issue led to the end of both parties’ relationship. However, Portable has reacted again to the issue pointing out that he never believed they will leave him like that.
In videos posted on his Instagram, he said, “So you guys can’t apologise after everything. moreover, I only tested my manager and Promoter by sacking them and they failed the test. It’s not as if there is a key role they are playing in my music career. They are only managing my money and now they are gone. Now, I have new managers and we move on with life.”
According to him, he is not depending on any of them and he can manage his affair by himself, so there’s no need for a manager or Promoter in the first place. What is your opinion concerning this?
