ICSAN inaugurates Kaduna Chapter

The inauguration of the Kaduna State Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, (ICSAN), one of the leading professional bodies in Nigeria took place on Wednesday 15 November 2023.

This inauguration was the first of its kind for the Institute in the Northern Region of the country. The well attended event was hybrid with stakeholders joining from Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Benin, Enugu among other states.

The occasion also witnessed the investiture of the Pioneer Chairman of the Kaduna State Chapter – Alhaji Tijjani Mohammed, FCIS .The Chairman of the Occasion was Hajiya Habiba Shekarau the Head of Service, Kaduna State Government while the Special Guests of Honour were His Excellency, Former Governor, Kaduna State Alhaji. Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero and Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi – Auditor General, Kaduna State.

Other guests included representatives of other professional bodies including CITN, NBA, CIPMN, ANAN and other members of the Association of Professional bodies in Nigeria (APBN)

This inauguration is a fulfillment of Mrs. Funmi Ekundayo FCIS promise to make ICSAN a true national association with presence in all the geo political zones in the country. According to Mrs. Nkechi Onyenso FCIS Chairman of the Committee on Publicity and Advocacy, this inauguration is the first in many to come during the presidency of Funmi Ekundayo the 29th and First female president of the Institute.
