Ikedieze, AY, others react to Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh’s death
Nigerians including several celebrities have taken to their respective social media handles to express their shock over the passing of Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh.
The Johnson” actress died in a hospital in Delta state on Sunday, July 17, after she suddenly slumped during a gathering. She was just 48 years old.
Reacting to the sudden death, fellow star on the set of ‘The Johnson Family’ Chinedu Ikedieze said he was praying for the story not to be true because he also read it on the social media, and have been trying to reach out to others to confirm the story.
Nancy Isime, a celebrity said her heart is so heavy hearing the sad news. “I don’t even know what to say. One of the people I look up to in the film industry. RIP Aunty Adah Ameh.
A twitter user said the actress never recovered from the depression due to her daughter’s untimely death during the #EndSARS protest.

Popular comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, also known as AY, also reacted to the death of popular Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh.
Reacting, AY, who shared a video of a movie he featured with the deceased said Ameh remains their heart.
Another twitter with the name Pascal tweets “RIP Adah Ameh, it’s not been easy for her since she lost her only child. Several cases sprung up of her not showing up for roles, her mental health must have been severely affected.”
Recall that “The Johnson” actress died in a hospital in Delta state on Sunday, July 17, after she suddenly slumped during a gathering. She was just 48 years old.
Back in June, she mentioned that she had been battling a mental illness after losing her daughter, three sisters, three brothers and her father.
Ameh, who played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, is famous for her comic characters, especially in the series The Johnsons.
