Inauguration: Kogi CP warns trouble makers

Ahead of Wednesday’s inauguration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello a the elected Governor of Kogi, the state police command has warned those planning to forment trouble to beware of police readiness to deal with miscreants.
The state commissioner of police Bensan Gwana gave the warning in Lokoja ahead of the January 27 hand over date to the new Governor.
The commissioner said that the police is prepared and determined to deal with any miscreant decisively
“Anybody that is caught causing trouble will be arrested and prosecuted accordingly”
He called on all parents to caution their children and wards not to fall victims or allow themselves to be used as thugs .
The police commissioner also reiterated the command’s readiness to provide adequate security of lives and property in the state.
He called on the people of the state to collaborate and partner with the police by volunteering any useful information to the police in order to facilitate police proactive ness.
