JJBC celebrates anniversary, awards Honorary Doctorate to distinguished Nigerians
As part of activities to mark its first year anniversary, the Jehovah Jireh Bible College is set to honour some distinguished Nigerians with honorary Doctorate Degrees on March 30th at its campus in Mowe, Ogun state.
Speaking on the anniversary activities, founder of the Bible College, Evangelist Dare Adefowoke said the Jehovah Jireh Bible College which was established in 2023 is to provide a long-life commitment to Christian Higher Education, using both traditional and non-traditional approaches to higher education.
He said, “Having wisdom and understanding is better than having silver or gold. Nice and expensive items can be enjoyable, but there are very few things in life that can never be taken away, will never go out of style, and that truly make you a better person, education is one of those things.

“There is nothing as golden as education. The purpose of Christian education is the directing of the process of human development toward God’s objective for man, the godliness of character and action that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” he added.
Speaking on the conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees on some individuals, the School Registrar, Pastor Adefowoke Oluwadamilare described the process of selecting honorary awardees as flawless, out only to honour those with an impeccable record of integrity and honesty, apart from distinguishing themselves in their chosen fields.
Among distinguished people to be honoured, according to Pastor Oluwadamilare are: Prophet Idowu Michael of CAC (Gbogunmi); Rev. Mother Prophetess Anike Adewale of C&S Unstable God of Israel; Rev. Mother Prophetess Oluwadahunsi of C&S Amazing Grace Church of Christ; Snr Evangelist Prophet Adekunle Omoniyi of C&S Ogo Sioni Sanctuary.
Others are: Special Apostle Prophet Olayinka Adeshina of C&S Ireti Ogo; Venerable Superior Evangelist Prophet Johnson Alegbeleye of CCC, Ikotun Cathedral district; Apostle Prophet Okikiola Olatoye of Salvated Christian International Ministry and Special Apostle Muyiwa Ogundele of C&S Ifeoluwa Cathedral among many other recipients.
He disclosed that Pastor D.R Tegboja will be the guest speaker at the special event.
