Joe Igbokwe reacts about the circulating photos and rumors about Tinubu
Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to upload a copy of the statement released by the Director of Media and Publicity for Bola Asiwaju Tinubu Support Groups Management Council, disclaiming the rumor circulating on social media about the politician.
A video recently went viral, creating rumors that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wet his dress when he went to visit a paramount leader in Ogun State.
Joe Igbokwe uploaded a disclaimer made by Otunba Biodun Ajiboye on the rumors circulating around about the national leader of APC. The article was titled, “Evil doers and destroyers of destiny are at it again.” Joe Igbokwe captioned the disclaimer he uploaded, saying “Fake news everywhere.”
The disclaimer carried the image that had been circulating, which was reportedly a fake photoshopped picture, and the original version of the image. See the photos below.
According to the statement, the success that Tinubu achieved on his outings to visit the paramount rulers in Ogun State led his enemies to start propaganda against him by scripting a tale to discredit the outing.
The disclaimer stated that, assuming that Tinubu wetted his clothing, it would be his bum area that would be wet and not the back of his knee.
It also stated that Tinubu wouldn’t have prostrated to greet Awujale of Ijebuland in the presence of everyone present, because he would have been ashamed of having wet his clothes, and tried to cover it up.
The disclaimer appealed to Nigerians to ignore the rumors because Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is perfectly healthy and strong enough to oversee the affairs of the nation if he is elected.
What do you think about the disclaimer by Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, the Director of Media and Publicity for Bola Asiwaju Tinubu Support Groups Management Council? Do you think the stories add up?
Do you think it was all fake news based on Joe Igbokwe’s reaction? Don’t forget to leave a comment.
