Just in: Tinubu returns to Nigeria
Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday April 24, 2023.
Decked in a flowing blue agbada, the winner of February 25 election, arrived to the waiting hands of a tumultuous crowd of party leaders, members of APC National Working Committee (NWC); Governors, National Assembly members and well-wishers, among others.

The former Lagos state governor who traveled to France since March 22, returned ahead of his inauguration as President on May 29, 2023.
Tinubu won the February 25 poll and was declared the President-Elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The president-elect had jetted out of Nigeria to France on March 21, a trip his campaign council said was meant for him to take a rest and plan ahead of his inauguration on May 29.
