Kidnappers broke through roof to abduct RCCG pastor, teacher

An RCCG pstor and a female teacher in the same parish at Mile 8, Ikot Eneobong, Hilltop Estate, Calabar, Cross Rivers, have been kidnapped.

Pastor Sunday Adeniran and the teacher were abducted at 1.30 am Saturday.

According to neighbours, the kidnappers gained entry into the apartment through the roof and abducted the two.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Irene Ugbo, said the Anti-kidnapping and Cultism Squad AKCS were on the trail of the criminals.

“We want to assure the residents of the area to remain calm ,we will smoke them out no matter what it takes , there is no space for criminality in any part of the state.” she said.
