Koulibaly gets Napoli’s contract pay rise to ward of EPL suitors
Kalidou Koulibaly will reportedly earn a large pay rise at Napoli next season, earning over €6m net per year.
According to Sportitalia, the deal has been worked out and will activate automatically in the summer.
The Partenopei have turned down numerous offers from the Premier League, La Liga and Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis claims he has rejected as much as €90m for the Senegal international.
This increase in salary is part of their way of rewarding Koulibaly for remaining at the Stadio San Paolo.
