Kwankwaso willing to negotiate with Obi for 2027, gives conditions for VP ticket
The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 general elections, Engr. Rabiú Musa Kwanwkaso, has expressed willingness to negotiation with Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, for the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria.
Kwankwaso further indicated that he has no problem being vice presidential candidate to Peter Obi given certain conditions.
Though, the former Governor of Kano State was of the view that he is a bigger politician than Obi, he state that he is willing for discussions with Obi provided trust is established.

According to Kwankwaso, “I’m bigger than Peter Obi politically, I’m his elder brother, I’m a PhD holder, I performed better than him when I was a governor of my state. I’ve no problem with deputizing Peter Obi, but only if certain conditions are met.”
Affirming readiness to negotiate with Obi, Kwankwaso declared: “We are willing to engage in discussions, provided that trust is established.”
