LA Planet celebrates International Day of Sport for Development and Peace
LA Planet Sport Academia has joined the sports fraternity to celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace amidst the Covid-19 outbreak,National Daily learnt.
The Academia which is based in Ilorin has suspended training indefinitely due to the outbreak of the virus but took out time to celebrate the memorable day in order to develop the round leather game.
Despite the blow done to sport this year by the coronavirus pandemic, Manager of LA Planet Sport Academia, Shogo Shodunnke urged the football community to make use of the day to come together and return peace to football.
“We’re facing a difficult time in football due to the Coronavirus, this is the time we need to come together and fight the virus by following all the guidelines to avoid its further spread around the world, especially within the sporting family, this will make us to return peace to the game and the world.”
