Lagos govt transfers coronavirus patient to upgraded facility

Lagos State government at the weekend revealed that the coronavirus patient has been taken to an upgraded facility which is more effective I n handling the health hazard.

The Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, at a media briefing, affirmed that the Italian diagnosed with the virus is receiving treatment at the infectious disease facility in Lagos.

The Lagos State government earlier debunked media report that the isolated Italian patient attempted to escape from the quarantine centre because of poor facility.
