Lagos Police deploys 1,300 Officers to monitor Ondo poll

No fewer than 1,300 officers have been deployed from Lagos State Police Command to Ondo State in the governorship election on Saturday, 26 November election.
The officers drawn from various commands are taken to Ondo state ahead of the election to provide security with other sister agencies in the state.
According to Police source ,the deployment was ordered by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to beef up security for free and fair election.
INEC has promised to ensure hitch-free election as they will ensure an adequate security in the state during the election
