Late mother remains my biggest inspiration, says Tacha
Nigerian reality TV star and influencer Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed that the memory of her late mother continues to inspire her success and drive her ambitions.
Speaking in an interview with The Sun, the former Big Brother Naija housemate described her mother as hardworking and prayerful, noting that she remains her greatest source of motivation despite her passing.

Tacha said she constantly strives to make her late mother proud, believing she would have achieved even more if she had enjoyed similar opportunities.
“I had a very hardworking and prayerful mother. Even though she’s late, I always feel the need and urge to make her proud. If she had the same opportunity I have right now, she would do everything I have done and even more,” she said.
The reality star also spoke about her passion for beauty and makeup, revealing that she began exploring makeup artistry at the age of 14.
According to her, that passion has inspired the launch of her upcoming beauty brand, Tacha Beauty, which is expected to debut in September.
“My double Guinness Book of Records honours were behind it. I am a beauty founder, and I have plans to launch my cosmetic line by September. It will be called Tacha Beauty. I wanted my outfit and overall look to reflect that journey. I’ve been into makeup since I was 14 years old. I didn’t want to keep explaining how good I am, I just wanted to show my skills,” she said.
Tacha added that the new venture represents a continuation of a lifelong passion and a testament to years of dedication to the beauty industry.
She also encouraged young women to pursue their dreams with confidence, urging them not to seek validation from others before taking bold steps.
“I want them to keep getting inspired. They should not stop; they should not ask for permission; they should keep soaring. Be confident in yourselves and live your best lives because you only live once,” she advised.
