It was reported that the former lawmaker who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has shown his interest in joining the governorship race in 2023.
The outstanding lawmaker made this statement while speaking with the press during a radio interview in Kaduna on Saturday, adding his intentions of running for governorship is to rescue the state from the mess that had been created by governor Nasir El-Rufai.
Further speaking, Shehu Sani made it known that he was throwing his hat in the ring on the platform of PDP, adding that it’s left for the party to unite its members to form a government that will respect the will of the poor citizens in Kaduna state.
This is a good move by the outstanding lawmaker, Shehu Sani, and if you ask me, I would say that Shehu Sani would make a good governor if he becomes the governor of Kaduna State. I see him as a man with great vision for the state, he is a man who is willing to put the people first before anything, he has always proven to be a man with great integrity.
