LP slams Oshiomhole over comment on Peter Obi

Labour Party has reacted to the comment of former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, in a video he claimed that Peter Obi cannot solve Nigeria’s insecurity problem because, he could not stop Bakassi boys and girls while he was the governor of Anambra.

Responding to the allegation, the Labour Party said he should be ashamed of himself for attempting to use insecurity to measure the performance of Peter Obi, while in office as Anambra State Governor, some years ago.

While the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Arabambi Abayomi, was responding during a telephone interview, he said that, it is curious that a government which Comrade Adams Oshimohole is part and parcel of, can even attempt to use insecurity as the yardstick to talk about any other government before it.

He said, “Is it not under this same government he formed that, the Kuje Prison was attacked by bandits without a shot fired by security forces who were watching over the place ?

Is it not under this same Buhari-led APC government that bandits attacked the convoy of the sitting president and killed close to 30 security personnel ? “
